Product Introduction

As one of the five major non-destructive testing methods, penetrant testing utilizes capillary action to inspect for surface defects in materials. It is widely applied to the inspection of surface flaws in ferrous and non-ferrous metal forgings, castings, welded components, and machined parts, as well as in ceramics, glass, and plastics. This method is capable of detecting defects such as cracks, cold shuts, inclusions, porosity, folds, and blowholes. Distinguished by its high sensitivity, strong versatility, and simple process requirements, penetrant testing is extensively utilized across various sectors, including automotive, rail transport, aerospace, energy, defense, and general machinery. Given the significant variations across industries—specifically regarding product geometry, inspection volume, sensitivity requirements, and manufacturing processes—penetrant testing equipment has evolved to become highly diverse and specialized.
