Magnetic Particle Inspection System for Steel Pipe End (Non-contact)
This equipment is a high-speed, in-line inspection system designed for the steel industry, suitable for the magnetic particle testing of round bars, square billets, flat billets, rectangular billets, steel pipe bodies, pipe ends, and bevels. Capable of meeting the demands of high-speed, in-line flaw detection within the steel sector, the system can be integrated with auxiliary machinery to perform tasks such as cleaning and blow-drying, depending on the condition of the workpiece surface. The complete system comprises a material storage rack, a stepping mechanism, a roller conveyor, a cleaning system, a spraying system, a magnetization system, an observation unit, a demagnetization unit, a blow-drying device, an output roller conveyor, a discharge mechanism, and a grinding system. Utilizing advanced electronic control technology and modular circuitry, the equipment employs large magnetic yokes for circumferential magnetization and high-field-strength coils for longitudinal magnetization. The system is capable of performing circumferential, longitudinal, and compound magnetization independently; it can automatically execute the entire sequence of operations—including workpiece stepping, roller conveyance, cleaning, blow-drying, spraying, magnetization, fluorescent inspection, demagnetization, discharging, and grinding—ensuring that there are no blind spots at either end of the workpiece. With its aesthetically pleasing and robust design, the complete unit is ideally suited for the flaw detection of steel mill billets, as well as the bodies, ends, and bevels of all types of steel pipes.
